About us
The All-Ukrainian public organization for the restoration of Jewish religious buildings “SHOFAR” was founded by a group of like-minded Jews to preserve spiritual heritage and bring back to life places that matter to Jewish history in Ukraine.
Dear friends, please take this information into consideration and, where possible, help with its dissemination and implementation.
First sites
Our first areas of work are the synagogue in Husiatyn, Ternopil region, and the ruins of the historic synagogue in Sokal, Lviv region.
Bringing life back
Our goal is not only to preserve these sacred places for future generations, but also to bring Jewish life back to them. Any help matters: expertise, organization, materials or financial support.
